Everyone knows the Proust-Effect. The triggering of strong, emotional memories after smelling. It results from the fact that olfactory stimuli are processed in the same brain regions of the limbic system that are also responsible for memory and emotions. We will be catapulted into the past! But what happens, when we sniff something new and have no indications and memories? Would it be possible to smell the future?
If we smell something completely new is already old for our scent memory tomorrow. So it always has to be a new fragrance! The Kaleidoscent tries to avoid the Proust-Effect and creates constantly new fragrances. How does it work?
We constantly discover new abstract forms and colors with the principle of the kaleidoscope. In the Kaleidoscent, the colors and shapes are transformed into scents. New fragrance compositions are constantly being created.
The results are unprecedented scents that may bring the future a little bit closer.
